Jacqueline Farrar

Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Jacque graduated from a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2011, which took her to Newcastle for a season working with the Newcastle Knights. It was here that her passion for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries led her back to study a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2014.

Whilst undertaking further studies, Jacque continued to work as an Exercise Physiologist, where she began to use her newly found physio knowledge combined with exercise prescription. She began noticing common dysfunctional movement patterns in her clients which led her to experiment with Pilates and begin to incorporate this into her client’s programs with huge success. She went on to launch a successful Pilates program, whilst attaining her Pilates qualification under the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute).

After graduating from physiotherapy, Jacque was selected for a Graduate position at St. Vincent’s hospital before returning to the rehab world and working in private practice once again.

Jacque recently travelled with NSW Hockey as the team Physiotherapist for U18s Women’s and Country Women’s 2016 Tours.

Growing up Jacque played Netball and Basketball, but these days keeps active by working on her pilates and running, having completed her first half marathon earlier this year.

Most weekends you will find Jacque relaxing with a glass of wine and friends, exploring new parts of Sydney or travelling south to visit family with her husband and their cavoodle ‘Harvey'.
